With January wrapped up we’re definitely back up to speed, with plenty of applications to get through and clients to support. We’ve had a real mix this month with plenty of re-mortgage enquiries, commercial finance applications and quite a bit of life cover to arrange.
A big week as far as Brexit goes which is still as clear as mud, but it doesn’t appear to be affecting mortgage rates with a couple of lenders actually reducing their fixed rates this week!
Jo has been helping a first-time buyer to arrange their first mortgage for a new build property utilising the governments help to buy scheme this week as well as finding her feet with Webline, the life cover sourcing system.
Ian, our MD, is as busy as ever writing mortgage business for both new and existing clients, with Lyndsey hanging on to his coat tails clearing up the trail of admin this creates…
Steve is glued to his desk assessing accounts for a number of businesses that want to raise finance including a management buy in facility, property development finance for a 4-plot project and a number of businesses that are wanting to buy premises.
Also, a little networking and lunch on Friday to catch up with Julie Parkin of RBS Group to see how things are in the world of Banking.
Finally, its great to see fantastic feedback from John Burdin on our Facebook page (don’t forget to follow us!) after we arranged two re-mortgages. Many thanks John, much appreciated!
