Wow! This month’s blog is a bit late. We write as we survive a day & night of flooding in Penistone. We hope everyone managed to stay safe and has not be affected. It’s been such a busy month. Half term, Halloween and lots of rain…
This month we have been discussing next year’s fund raiser and we
promise to keep you posted on this. Faye is about to get her head into her study books for CeMap. We have been soaking fruit and feeding Christmas cakes ready for the (dare we say it…) festive season! We’ve been celebrating at weddings and exploring new places with our families and doing lots of walking. Bike riding and running has taken a back seat as the dark nights draw in. We have all had a lovely half term, Windermere and Harry Potter World have been on this month’s Agenda, and wow what a busy Halloween! In Silkstone we ran out of sweets! Steve and Ian have put a sweet ban in place and so we will have to survive on caffeine and bacon butties.
Ian has been busy helping a client secure a self build. He has been securing the best rates for clients for buy to lets, first time buyers, re-mortgages and, last but no means least, life cover. A change in circumstances presents an essential need to review this area.
Steve has been busy with ongoing commercial applications including arranging a number of re-mortgages for buy to let portfolio clients. He has also helped to arrange commercial mortgages for a number of businesses to buy trading premises and helped a business to raise funds to support their expansion plans with asset finance.
It was great to see a fantastic review from a first-time buyer that Steve helped arrange for their first home. To view this, and all our other reviews, please click here.
Joanne has secured offers for several first-time buyers. Joanne also secured an offer with a high street lender for a client with a history of mortgage arrears to enable them to get out of renting a home and working with Steve and his commercial clients.
Faye has been busy working with Ian and his clients and getting started with her CeMap, whilst making coffee and ensuring everyone has been fed!
