It’s been a strange month, April. Kids school holidays, bike riding, personal achievements & sunnier climates! How incredible to have the hottest Easter Bank Holiday weekends in decades. That was a real treat. We went to a Buy to Let Mortgage Focus Forum this month. This allows us to continue our work around professional development, changes in the market and to understand what different deals are out there.
Ian has had a busy April protecting clients with their mortgages, families & themselves with life & critical illness policies.
The self-build trend continues along with lots of returning customers who are re-fixing their mortgage deals. Ian is very happy as the improving weather means he is out and about on the motorbike at weekends!
Steve has worked with a large property investment company in Sheffield to help them purchase more properties. This is a fantastic deal for his client, called a multi-property facility that allows 6 properties to be combined into one mortgage and even better – no arrangement fee! A very happy client.
In addition, Steve has had an offer issued for a children’s day nursery for a commercial re mortgage.
Steve has also helped a number of clients arrange finance to purchase investment properties through their pension funds this month.
Steve has bought his first mountain bike in years and it’s going well, next year the Tour De Yorkshire Steve?! We will keep our eyes peeled…
Jo continues to be our first-time-buyer and right to buy specialist! Along with protecting new clients with their mortgages, which is often their biggest new commitment. This has been done around a holiday to sunnier climates and she is now sporting a very envious suntan.
Faye is learning lots daily around a very busy month of holidays and has also managed her first 10k run – good luck Faye!
Bring on May, and please, please some nice weather….
